hGC Diet for Weight Loss: Will hGC Work for You?

    “Pounds and Inches” by Dr. Simmion is what you need to read before you begin this program, it will explain how this works and if you do not follow it exactly you could throw your system off. I have done this program with great success, but I followed Dr. Simmion (who by the way is the author of this diet plan) 100% I did not even use lotion on my skin for the 24 days, and only used minerl make up (no oils). I did not exersize for that time period other then 20 minute slow walks with my dogs, because my body was burning everything it had through fat release and the 500 calories I had nothing left for the extreme exersize, I tried one of my normal 8 mile bike rides and by the 5th mile I was so exhausted and it took all I had to get back to the car and the rest of the day I layed around. So what I am saying is do your home work before you start this program! It works amazing if you follow it 100% I started the plan May 19,2011 by the end I was down 16 lbs increased calories to 1100-1200 no starchs, sugars and restricted carbs and as of today Oct 1, 2011 I am down total of 50 lbs, feel great and will now add a few starches 1-2 times a week.

      Congratulations to you!!!! I am starting day one tomorrow….however, I am having trouble finding information on these grissini bread sticks…I guess I am going to go with the melba toast, if I can find some without sugar and oil!!!!

        Grissini breadsticks can be a little difficult to find in stores, but are readily available online. Melba toast, on the other hand, is sold in most chain stores so should be easy to get ahold of.

      Definitely don’t cheat. When I did my hcg diet I cheated once and has a weight loss stall for like 3 days. Oh and drink lots of water.

    I actually didn’t think I had that much to lose, but when I was knocking on 200 lbs, I knew I had to make a change. My boss took it and saw amazing results and recommended it to me. What can I say, the HCG drops work. I was eating 500 calories per day but had tons of energy. I lost 25 pounds in 14 days. Girls notice me a lot more now!

    I think it’s not really a question of whether or not the HCG diet will work for you, I think the more important question is whether or not you are willing to work with it.

    I believe HGC is a great way of weight reduction and I personally have written some posts on this health issue. Basically, if the patirents become aware of the healths effects of other weight loss methods, they can learn it quickly how to implement the HGC method.

    I started using hCG but later found out that my purchase was not the “real” hCG. What is the big deal if it works? My appetitie has decreased considerable. I ate 2 melba toast and felt like I just ate Thanksgiving dinner. I have been losing a pound a day. I am able to stick to the plan. Can anyone clarify why the “not real” hCG is not good?

      You are probably talking about homeopathic hCG which is made from real hCG. The original hCG leaves an energy imprint on the homeopathic liquid and works just like the original hormone itself. The people that say it doesn’t work haven’t tried it..

    I have been the typical yoyo dieter. I got down to 130 lbs on the Atkins but then in the course of life zoomed back up to 225. I did the HCG diet. I went down to 170 lbs. I ate a lot of junk during the holiday season and went up to 178. So considering the amount of junk ,that was not really bad. I’m doing another round of HCG to get to my goal weight of 140 lbs. I love the first 2 days of fat loading. I like the next phase because it feels like I am doing something really good for my body.

    I am thinking of using this method to lose. I only need to lose between 10 to 15 pounds
    how does that work if you are suppose to take it for 21 days and you lose a pound a day.

      If you lose weight before the 21 days is up, continue to eat the same foods allowed in the diet but in slightly larger portions. After the 21 days is up, be sure to follow Phase 3 to ensure your metabolism is completely reset.
